Lucky Cow Paper Bags are environmentally friendly, vegan and made using sustainable resources. Our products are animal and cruelty free, and unlike many other leather alternatives – are not made from plastic! Instead our bags are made from a paper that is strong, durable and ages beautifully.
WEARS LIKE LEATHER
Just like leather, Lucky Cow Paper will age and soften over time, wrinkling and forming a patina. The more our bags are used, the better they’ll look!
WASHES LIKE FABRIC
Lucky Cow Paper is as strong as canvas, it can be sewn, ironed and even washed!
MADE FROM PAPER
Lucky Cow Paper is made from….Paper! Unlike regular kraft paper our bags are made from a durable, tear resistant paper.
Look after your bag!
Our bags can be machine washed on a warm cycle, 30°C, using liquid detergent (NO bleach, NO fabric softener) however we recommend hand washing and spot cleaning instead where possible. Once wet the bag should be left to dry naturally.
Washing will speed up the ageing process, giving the bag a wrinkled and more vintage look which will otherwise be achieved naturally with use.

The paper used in our bags is accredited by both the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and Oeko-Tex, who test for harmful substances.
FSC certification is the most rigorous and respected international standard for responsible forestry and FSC certified forests conserve biological diversity, water resources and crucial eco-systems. The FSC standard also champions worker rights and supports economic prosperity in local communities.

Lucky Cow Paper is created by mixing high density cellulose wood pulp with natural rubber which provides the water resistance and durability.
It is free from harmful substances like AZO dyes and is dimensionally stable so won't shrink or stretch.
As Lucky Cow paper is a natural material, every bag and accessory will be unique and colour may vary slightly.
Paper by its very nature will crease and age, so don't be alarmed by this - your bag will build character and will tell a story through loving use.
